Although a lot of resources have been dedicated to the control, prevention and treatment of malaria in rural, poverty stricken and deprived communities, malaria still remain the number one killer disease in Ghana. In order to mitigate this situation Pathfinders Outreach Ministry would like to work in collaboration with the District Health Management Team and Community Leaders to advocate on malaria control, prevention and treatment, to educate on the Indoor Residual Spraying, to educate on ACT addition and Home Based Care, to give education and encourage pregnant women on the importance of Ante Natal Care and IPT during pregnancy, to set up ITNs treatment centers.
