Presently VSRCH is providing services to poor and needy War and Tsunami affected 330 children and 45 Elders who are in housed with following Care Homes for Children:
Vajira Sri Rehabilitation Children’s Home-Pitakotte
Vajira Sri Girls Home-Pitakotte
Vajira Sri Infants Home-Pitakotte
There are some important principles and requirements that apply for all children and adults of these care homes. All children are treated equally. No discrimination on cast, race or religion.
Discipline, responsibility, hospitality, respect, obedience, hope with determination are important issues for these children. Teachers and the staff are there to guide the children for improving their lives with good qualities.
The ultimate objective of this effort is to produce better citizens to the society from the most disadvantaged children by inspiring, encouraging, educating and providing them an impartial service.
