About AidConnect
AidConnect is the global online network of people who are committed to development aid and cooperation.
It connects individuals, groups and organizations which want to exchange ideas and learn about development data, policies and best practices.
Via AidConnect they are able to communicate interactively with supporters, partners and other non profits around the world.
People can use AidConnect to:
- report about their project and the work they do
- gather tailored information and know-how
- network with other engaged individuals and experts
AidConnect Mission
We at AidConnect want to establish a worldwide dialog about development aid and cooperation. In this way people will learn from each other and gain a better understanding of the One World.
Through AidConnect we hope to motivate individuals to engage more strongly in projects and partnerships for the purpose of the Millenium Development Goals.
Furthermore, we hope that we can make a contribution to enhance transparency in development cooperation.
AidConnect Team
AidConnect has been developed and implemented by Accenture Foundation Germany and Aidmatrix Foundation. The concept and ideas for AidConnect were developed jointly with the Center of Media and Interactivity (ZMI) of the University of Giessen in Germany.
